Fake Blood has been a hero in some circles for some time now. Having the backing of the Cheap Thrills label as well as being played out by Diplo and the Mad Decent Crew. His new EP makes his last release look like absolute garbage.
It’s true that many good things come from Italy: Soccer/futbol, cheese, pasta, hairy women, and loud people. However, my favorite thing is the label, Italians Do It Better. It’s the only label that I know of at the moment that has the perfect mix of spaced out disco, freestyle, and dark 80’s synthesizers. If you like this you should check out ALL of their artists, but also remove your ears from your butt and listen to Quiet Village and Prins Thomas and Lindstrom. Triple A is officially dipping his paw in ink and stamping a letter written by someone else, giving this his thumbs up.

1. Thanks for coming to the White Heart.
2. If you grabbed a card and bring it to me at 3am, you’ll get a t-shirt. Otherwise you can buy one for around 12 bucks. Word on the street is I’ll be DJing some more, so go to those gigs and grab a card there if you didn’t get one at the White Heart.
3. I promise more face melting next time.
(it’s a picture of me saying, “thanks everyone!”)
The Independent. First time I was there we had a problem uploading my music so I chatted up The Mantis and Mo. The second time I obviously crushed people. Thus the 1.5 times I’ve spun there and this time making it 2.5. I’ll be there this Tuesday 4/7 as a practice/warm up set for the 17th. Even though I’ll be spinning music that’s nothing like what you’ll hear then, still expect to hear nothing but the best.

sharpen up your social niceties. peace.
I know something. This is an absolutely wicked release! Not very minimal and not too maximal, something in between. Good basslines, good use of efx, bleeps, and squeaks, which I love. Most of the tracks here are really driving. Check out: Skateboard - Pagans, Xaver Naudascher - Motor City, and Paul Mogg & Xaver Naudascher - Moon Unit (Part 1).
